Best Attractions at Walt Disney World for Children

Traveling with small children might be one of the concerns for parents when planning a trip to Walt Disney World. However, in this post, we’ll show you the best child friendly attractions at Walt Disney World available for your toddlers and young children to ride.

In this article, we’ll discuss the four theme parks and the many rides and experiences they offer. It’s best to be sure that your child can ride a certain attraction! We’ve made that easy for you and have compiled a list of attractions and their height requirements.

Starting off is of course Magic Kingdom, having the most diverse ride options out of all the theme parks for your smaller children. Out of the entire park, there are only a handful of rides that has height requirements. The following attractions are in no particular order are our favorites for your toddler and young children.

Magic Kingdom

– Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel

– Dumbo the Flying Elephant

– Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid

EPCOT

Many think Epcot is not for children, and while it may seem like that on the surface, here are options for your children, not including the many character meet and greets that are offered, throughout the park.

Toddlers:

– Frozen Ever After

– The Seas with Nemo and Friends

– Turtle Talk with Crush

– The Coral Reef Aquarium

– The Three Caballeros

– Journey into Imagination with Figment

Young Children:

– Test Track

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is in our opinion the most lacking park, at the moment, that is about to change very soon! With Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge opening August 29, 2019, this park will go from our least favorite, to probably our second favorite park.

– Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (Opening Later in 2019)

– Fantasmic




Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Toddlers:

– Kilimanjaro Safaris

– Na’vi River Journey

– Festival of the Lion King

– Finding Nemo the Musical

– TriceraTop Spin

– Affection Section

Young Children:

– Avatar Flight of Passage

– Dinosour

– It’s Tough to be a Bug

– Kilimanjaro Safaris

– Na’vi River Journey

– Festival of the Lion King

– Finding Nemo the Musical

– Kali River Rapids

– Primeval Whirl

In addition to the best child friendly attractions at Walt Disney World, don’t forget about the fireworks at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Those shows are Happily Ever After and Epcot Forever, respectively.
