As part of Epcot’s ongoing extensive renovation, many closures will be taking place this Fall for a renovation.
There are many renovations happening, check out all of the closures below:

Mouse Gears
Disney states: As part of the ongoing transformation of Epcot, Mouse Gear will move to a temporary home this winter while its current location is reimagined.
Innovations East, Colortopia and Nanooze Break
On September 8, 2019 Innovations East, Colortopia and Nanooze Break are all scheduled to close.
Electric Umbrella
The Electric Umbrella will be closing this Fall allowing new dining options featuring different foods and beverages.
Fountain View Starbucks
During the renovation the Fountain View Starbucks is closing. Disney posted:
“As part of the ongoing transformation Epcot, Fountain View Starbucks will relocate to a temporary location in Late Fall”
Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot
Epcot will be closing the Character Spot where guests meet characters like Mickey, Minnie and Goofy this September.
This will be a temporary closure beginning on September 8, 2019. During this closure guests can meet characters in other locations in the park.
- Mickey and Goofy will be moving to Innovations West until space is made in Imagination Pavilion
- Daisy Duck will be moving to Epcot’s American Adventure
- Minnie Mouse will be moving to the Gazebo in World Showcase
Currently there is no information on where Joy, Sadness and Baymax will be moved too.
This is most likely just the beginning and we should get a clearer picture of more details during D23 next month.
