We are now hearing rumors floating around that Disney is in the process of putting together a live action ‘Rapunzel’.
According to the disinsider, Ashleigh Powell is working on the script, and the movie will be produced by Michael De Luca (Moneyball, Captain Phillips) and Kristin Burr (Christopher Robin), who is also producing Disney’s Live-Action Cruella Movie.
There is still an active search for a director, however. Then when that is done, casting the roles.
There is no word wherein the Tangled timeline this movie will take place with other movies in the pipeline as well such as ‘The Little Mermaid‘.
