As many of you know Epcot is now underway to receive some major renovations over the next few years. One of those renovations is completely redoing the front entrance to the park. It was revealed earlier this year that Disney had plans for this new entrance and that it would be removing the monoliths from where they are now and relocate them to the outside of the front entrance of the park.
Although there are no walls up yet, the right side will soon be cleared as well. In its place will be planters and greenery. This will create new, open, pathways for guests visiting the park.
As we can see from the concept art above, the area could include a newly renovated fountain.
All updates will become more clear as we near the D23 Expo.
