The ongoing construction for the complete overhaul of Epcot is well underway. The first phase of the reimagined entrance is now completed and accessible to the public. This new area is part of the new concept for the World Celebration section of the park.
Now of course missing from this new entrance are the leave a legacy monuments. But don’t worry, that will be revamped, and relocated to outside the park entrance at a later date. The new entrance is going to have a big nature design elements as you can see the new planter boxes, filled with trees, shrubs, and flowers. This new entrance allows for a new layout that will also change the flow of guests entering and exiting the park. It will lead you thru a forest including a wishing tree among the greenery. There will also be a new fountain reminiscent of classic Epcot at the entrance.
A new pavilion will also be built as well that will be utilized for festivals, and events. It will have views unlike any other location of the fireworks and the newly designed park. The entrance will also gain a new statue that will honor Walt and his vision.
The entry is slated for a Spring 2020 completion just in time for the new Ratatouille ride coming Summer 2020.
