The Disney Skyliner is just over a month away from opening to the public on September 29, 2019. This new form of transportation will transport guests from Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four resort hotels – Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort. With the opening so close Disney has unveiled what the cast members will be wearing when guests take flight in September.

Walt Disney Imagineering and the Costuming Department designed a new mid-century modern costumes that were inspired by the travel system’s color scheme and the curved shape of the Skyliner cabins.

Male Skyliner operators will wear the tangerine-colored costumes while female Skyliner operators will wear the teal. Venting and moisture-wicking technology will also be worked into the design.
