Last night there was a scheduled fireworks test at the Magic Kingdom after hours for Disney Enchantment, and now we can see why. Thanks to Twitter user @wheels_518, we can share photos of archival footage of Walt and Roy Disney projected onto Cinderella Castle.
This seems to be happening because Disney knows that guests weren’t to happy when the new nighttime show didn’t pay any homage to the founder of the company nor the history of the park. Not to long ago Disney sent out surveys to guests asking about Enchantment and the 50th Anniversary as a whole. We can only assume that the responses were sub par at best and this is what is causing these new scenes to be added.
