Disney has revealed new details on new movies and shows coming soon across all of their brands from Star Wars to Pixar! Let’s dig into what they revealed for Marvel Studios!
Captain America: Brave New World – In theaters February 14, 2024
Captain America: Brave New World was briefly discussed, featuring the same footage shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2024. The clip includes a notable scene where the new President Thaddeus Ross, portrayed by Harrison Ford, addresses the celestial emergence from the Earth, as seen in The Eternals, and discusses the production of Adamantium. The footage also shows Sam Wilson alongside Joaquin, both in flight with Falcon’s suit. The dramatic conclusion reveals President Ross transforming into the Red Hulk at a podium in front of the White House, with the Red Hulk’s face closely resembling Ford’s, but with striking yellow eyes and black hair.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps – In theaters July 25, 2025
We got the same footage that was shown at Comic Con this year. The footage, presented in a 4:3 aspect ratio reminiscent of a vintage television, begins with Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) teaching a classroom and teasing an explosion. It then cuts to a retro-themed dating show, The Dating Game, featuring The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as a silhouette. The clip concludes with the team donning astronaut suits adorned with their last names as they board a retro-futuristic rocket. As the rocket launches, the aspect ratio shifts, revealing Galactus’s face partially obscured behind a building, showcasing a comic-accurate depiction of the iconic character.
Agatha All Along – Streaming September 18, 2024
At D23 2024, the cast of Agatha All Along took the stage to delve into the new series and reveal an exciting brand-new trailer. The show is set to premiere on Disney+ on September 18, 2024, with a two-episode launch. This nine-episode series promises a darker exploration of sorcery and magic within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Iron Heart – Streaming Soon on Disney+
Ryan Coogler and the cast of Iron Heart took the stage at D23 to discuss the upcoming series and unveil new footage. The trailer opens with Riri Williams soaring through the sky in her high-tech suit. It then explores her life at MIT following the events of Wakanda Forever, depicting her struggles and desperation to rebuild her armor. As Riri searches for funding, she partners with Anthony Ramos’ character to scavenge resources from various warehouses and labs. However, Ramos’ character eventually turns villainous, donning a suit and red cape. The trailer concludes with a dramatic shot of Riri’s suit flying towards her, as she dons the armor and performs a powerful truck flip in the street, echoing the action-packed style of the Iron Man films.
Daredevil: Born Again – March 2025
The cast of Daredevil: Born Again took the stage to discuss the series, emphasizing that it will retain the gritty tone of the Netflix iteration. The presentation featured graffiti art of Daredevil and Kingpin, setting the stage for exclusive footage.
The teaser opens with Matt Murdock visiting White Tiger in prison, offering a brief look at the comic-accurate White Tiger costume. White Tiger warns Matt that New York needs a hero as Kingpin’s power and influence continue to rise. The footage also includes intense scenes of Frank Castle, the Punisher, confronting Matt, along with various action snippets that highlight Matt’s struggle against Kingpin’s expanding influence through his mayoral campaign.
The trailer culminates in a tense diner conversation between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, where Fisk questions whether Matt’s warning about his power is coming from him or his “darker half.” The scene transitions into a dynamic fight sequence, blending scenes of Matt battling in civilian clothes and in his Daredevil costume. After a brutal fight, a character inquires about the kind of lawyer Matt is, to which he simply replies, “A really good one.”
