Disney has revealed new details on new movies and shows coming soon across all of their brands from Star Wars to Marvel! Let’s dig into what they revealed for Pixar Animation Studios!
Incredible 3 – No release date Announced
A new logo was unveiled for the eagerly anticipated Incredibles 3, marking the official announcement of the sequel. While specific details, including the director and release date, were not revealed, it’s clear that the third installment in the beloved series is in development. Fans can look forward to more adventures with the Parr family, though further information remains under wraps.
Dream Productions – Streaming 2025
Pixar kicked off its D23 2024 presentation with exciting news about its upcoming Disney+ series, Dream Productions. Set between the events of Inside Out and Inside Out 2, this new spin-off will delve into the fascinating world of how dreams are created—an element briefly touched on in Inside Out 2. The series is slated to stream in 2025, offering fans a deeper exploration of the dream realm.
Win or Lose – Streaming December 6, 2024
Before Dream Productions premieres on Disney+, Pixar will debut its first long-form series, Win or Lose. The series centers around eight distinct characters as they gear up for a championship softball game. Each episode offers a unique perspective, showcasing the story through different characters’ viewpoints. Hoppers – In theaters 2026
Disney and Pixar announced a new original film titled Hoppers. The story follows Mabel, a girl who transfers her consciousness into a robot beaver, known as a “Hopper,” to explore the animal kingdom. There, she encounters a noble king beaver and navigates various adventures. Mabel’s deep love for animals drives her to make this bold transformation. Elio – In theaters Summer 2025
The footage shown at D23 centers on Elio, who finds himself mistakenly identified as Earth’s ambassador to alien civilizations. In this unexpected role, Elio must navigate the complexities of forming connections with various extraterrestrial beings. Additionally, Zoe Saldana has been cast as Elio’s Aunt, a role originally intended for America Ferrera but recast due to scheduling conflicts.
Toy Story 5 – In theaters June 19, 2026
At D23, new details about Toy Story 5 were revealed, with the film set to explore the toys’ struggle to compete with modern technology for the attention and affection of the children who once cherished them. Directed by Andrew Stanton, the film will also introduce an intriguing subplot involving an army of 50 Buzz Lightyear toys trapped in a malfunctioning play mode.
