All The Details on Disney+ Like Price, Launch Date, & More
During the company’s Investor Day, The Walt Disney Company shared new details on their vision of a streaming service called Disney+. The new service will cost $6.99 per month and will be available on November 12, 2019. Here’s all of the main points about it from the event:
-Ad-free
-Available globally
-Will be available within Hulu
-Will available to download, all content from the service can be accessed offline
–Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic will all be brands available on Disney+
–Disney+ subscribers can set-up multiple accounts for each member of the family
-Childrens accounts will be curated especially for kids with parental controls
-Available on smart TV models, tablets, smartphones, and game consoles
-Will be available so far on Roku TV service
–Disney+ will be available in each major region of the world over the next two years
-You’ll be able to experience the entire 13 film Signature Collection of Disney movies on day one of the U.S. launch
-All Pixar theatrical shorts, and 18 movies will be on Disney+ at launch, and 21 movies total movies after launch
-Many Marvel titles, including films and original series specifically made for Disney+
-All Star Wars movies will roll out within the first year of launch
-A new Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, will premiere on Disney+ at launch
-Movies like Mary Poppins, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Alice of Wonderland (2010) will be available on day one and many more in year one
-Brand new holiday movies will be available on Disney+ like Disney’s Noelle, available year one of launch
-A live-action Lady and the Tramp is coming to Disney+ at launch
-More than 250 hours of National Geographic will be available at launch
-Nat Geo series will also be available on Disney+ including 2 brand new original series
-On day one, 5,000 episodes of Disney Channel content will be on Disney+, including Disney Junior content
-A brand new Phineas and and Ferb movie will be coming to the streaming service, including all original 127 episodes
–The Simpsons will be making Disney+ their exclusive home for streaming, starting at launch
-It’s likely that a bundle will be available to include Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu for a set price
