Disney To Open $14 Million Marvel Land in 2020

With Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge just opening at Disneyland Resort, Disney is not wasting anytime on working on their next project.

Several permits have been approved for buildings for the new project. Permits include a bathroom redo, a microbrewery, a retail outlet, a meet and greet with characters and updates to already existing buildings.

The approved permits value of work so far amounts to more than $14 million dollars – and this is only just the beginning.

Disney, who acquired Marvel in 2009 for just $4 billion have declined to comment on the permits or what attractions are set to be included in the new land, but it has been suggested according to some rumors that one new addition could include an interactive Spider-Man ride.

Currently A Bugs Land is being demolished in Disney’s California Adventure to make way for this new expansion.

We expect more details about the new land to be released at D23, which is scheduled to take place on 23rd – 25th August at the Anaheim Convention Center.
