Now first thing is first, overall this movie was pretty good, so good, we liked it better than the first one. We found that the story in this sequel was just more entertaining and suspenseful than the first.

I know many of you have seen what the “critics” have said about this movie but believe us it is worth a see! Rotten Tomatoes is WAY OFF on the score at which they have at 41%. Most of us know not to believe the critics, but it is worth noting.

Without going into much detail ruining the movie plot, things from the last movie with Maleficent being not evil did not stick, or at least that was the rumor that was spread around the kingdom. When Prince Philip asked Aurora to marry him Maleficent was then provoked to act evil instilling fear in the kingdom. It’s after that that Maleficent makes a discovery in a time of need and learns of her ancestry and their ways.

Michelle Pfeiffer plays the part of the Queen, the mother of Prince Philip. She plays a good part and that’s all we’ll say about her without ruining anything.

Like we said above, the movie is good and it’s worth a see at the movies if you saw the first one. Even if you didn’t see the first one, this movie is separate of the previous movie.
